Well, the kids and Peter are better from their colds, but now it's my turn. I started feeling a little tickle in my throat Wednesday afternoon and by dinner I had completely lost my voice. My throat hurt a bunch but I never got sniffles, just no voice until yesterday morning. Now I'm trying to keep a cough at bay by just not talking and drinking lots of hot beverages.
Dr. Peter brought me prescribed laryngitis medicine from the pharmacy of Hershey. What a guy!
I've been getting my Christmas on by making homemade decorations. The littles keep me pretty busy, but when I have a moment I do a little of this or a little of that.
Sunny and I made "Grinch Coal" for our St. Nicholas Day shoes.
St. Nicholas left snowy footprints! (Which Dainty found to be quite delicious...)
Matching purple advent dresses! They are soooo cute!
A little wreath made from the children's handprints. :) Little Mans prints are so darling!
Our St. Nicholas Day decor.
Snowflakes add a touch of magic to Christmas decorating.
Sunny and I crafted paper plate Angels for the mantle.
I have another decor project I'm working on, but it won't take affect until Christmas Eve... So you will have to wait for now. I'm excited to get my house ready for Christmas next week! Peter and Dainty picked out our tree yesterday, it smells wonderful! I must pour some more soothing, hot coffee down my raw throat now, but I look forward to sharing Christmas updates with you.
