Baby #3 Week 36 fluffing the nest

Oh my goodness, only four weeks left! I feel very relaxed though. My nest is ready, my bag is packed, now it is just waiting and everything I do now for post-partum is a bonus.
Last week's blood test came back as anemic; and it's no wonder with how I was feeling! After one week of taking the iron supplement and tweaking my diet I feel great! Some days I don't even need a nap, though I do take a daily rest as my body needs it even if my brain doesn't. I've also been sleeping like a rock at night! My emotions have been better too...no more random crying/yelling bursts at unsuspecting husband and confused children.

5 Happy Years!

Peter has been great. He has completed so many projects and often comes to my aid last-minute when I'm overheated while cooking dinner and ready to throw in the towel at the children who are wailing at my swollen feet. Peter's having a home office has been a blessing. He can just take them downstairs and put on a video or show them a Science experiment while I finish cooking.

Last week was our 5th anniversary and we treated ourselves to The Cheesecake Factory and Peter used his Macys gift card to buy me a bunch of maternity clothing. I feel so comfy with my grey and black leggings and camis that actually fit over my belly. Happy wife!
After five years, I am so content with my best friend and lover for life, I cannot imagine going a day without him by my side. We love cooking together, watching football together, snuggling, and causing Sunny to want to be married so she can have a sweetie pie of her own. I told Peter yesterday that it must be like living with three wives who are always demanding his attention, begging for his kisses, and insisting on holding his hand at all times. We are killing him with love! (I guess asking The Lord to send him a son doesn't sound so silly now!).

We bought curtains and hung them in the living room this week. It's amazing how much more relaxed I feel having curtains up! It's like, "Yay, now the neighbors won't see the children hanging out of the window and scaling the furniture all the time!"

Of course, now that the living room has proper curtains, the temporary ones that were in there are being hung in our bedroom where they belong. :)

Sweet, lacey curtains for the nursery! Plus an end table to be used while nursing. :) Speaking of nursing...

Sunny is nursing her puppy. She is very interested in nursing and asks me every day if my mother's milk is ready for the baby yet... I think she is going to be very disappointed when I tell her she can't nurse the baby herself.

One of my favorite newborn shots of Sunshine! I love her little face. I can hardly believe that she will be 4 in just a few weeks!

Goodness, I must get to folding that mountain of laundry!
