The Big Move

The past two weeks have flown! Moving week was crazy busy, moving weekend was crazy busy, unpacking week was crazy busy, and this week is looking pretty crazy busy.

All craziness stated, I love our new home! I feel quite comfortable here. A month of planning and dreaming about each room helped furniture get into their respective places last week. This week I'm continuing to clear out boxes and get things into place. I will hang pictures this week and plan makeover projects for next week.

The week of the move. It was nuts living among boxes.

Enjoying the view from our new living room window.

Ah, now this kitchen is more like it! I was going bonkers in my other kitchen with my big belly and 3 other bodies trying to bustle about while cooking.

The moving crew taking a well- deserved gelato break. Our UHaul truck was given away to someone else at the last minute, so these brave souls hauled all our belongings and furniture using two minivans and my dad's trailer.

Peter spent many late nights and long days changing out door locks, installing a bathroom vent fan,
Installing a working dishwasher and garbage disposal, and repairing light fixtures. What a guy! That's why I married him...

My friend, Tracey, was babysitting Mary for us during the move and brought her back to be named the real Lady of the House.

24 weeks. I don't really look it, but It's a hilarious spectacle for anyone to witness me trying to pick up some object off the floor. It's been tough waiting for someone else to come along to pick up a box for me when I need it moved. My feet are like puffy red marshmallows by the end of the day and one hip is rusty at times. I keep having to tell myself it's ok to leave those boxes to be opened or moved for another day.
