Excitement abounds

There are so many exciting things going on over here!

Sunny started her first day of PreK3!!!
I think the teacher is more excited than the student!
I LOVE teaching. It's my GROOVE...
my NICHE...
It's totally my element!

Sunny is starting the first week off with Aa, of course.
She is soooo cute and does very well.
It may look like a mess of scribbles to you,
but to a teacher, it's exciting. Sunny is learning exactly
as she should. I can say that this is actually what I would
expect from K4-K, but I refuse to push her.
We are skipping along at her own little pace.

I am currently sitting anxious today waiting for my
giant white board to arrive. I am excited to
get my PreK learning board set up!
I have all my materials and lessons...
I just need that board...
it's like Christmas!
Where are you, UPS truck?!

F-A-L-L
How I love thee!
I am already planning our fall crafts
and planning pumpkin recipes
and holding myself back from pulling out
the fall decor.

GARDENING
We have a huge harvest of raspberries
growing nicely.
Raspberries are on my top favorites
list... I pop 'em like they are Manna.
I am very much looking forward to eating
those tomatoes in a caprese this week,
I think we may have over 20 tomatoes growing on
2 tomato plants and they are HUGE.
Peter keeps buying longer stakes to hold up the
bushes which are weighed down by juicy tomatoes.
I am still sad that we can't grow our own
PUMPKINS,
but I assure you that I may just buy a
whole patch to use for breads,
pumpkin butter, roasted seeds, pies,
new recipes, and even crafts!

What are you looking forward to this fall?

~Michelle
