I know it's been a while since I've shared what we are reading,
but it goes to show you how busy we are.
We actually only got back into reading a few weeks ago.
1) Mattimeo by Brian Jacques

| Hubby has nothing but good things to say about this quaint book from the series Redwall. I can't remember the last time he flew through so many books! It's full of adventure and Peter says the descriptions are phenomenal ~he read to me a banquet scene and we were both drooling!~ 2) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling |

| This is one of my favorites! I fly through this series. Each chapter has me anxious to find out what's going to happen next; and this is my 3rd time reading them! I am currently watching the movie and then reading the corresponding book to spot the differences. I know this series has caused plenty of moral discussions within Catholic households, so I will only recommend it to mature teens who can handle violence and know that flying on a broomstick is pure fantasy (I have seen youngsters actually playing "Harry Potter" in my back yard thinking they can have wand battles and turn invisible...). I actually classify this series between Narnia and Lord of the Rings. 3) Personal Penguin by Sandra Boynton |

| Sandra Boynton is wonderful! Her little books are cute, charming, and funny. We all love reading these. This one was written as a tribute to Davy Jones who sang "Personal Penguin" ~which is actually a top tune fav on our children's Pandora playlist!~ Peter downloaded the song as recommended on the cover of the book so we can sing the song as we flip the pages.
