I love my little Sunshine;
However, it is a pet peeve of mine when she
chews on her hair and gets it all gross with food
and matted with tangles.
Since the darling won't allow me to embellish
her hair with bows or braids,
I decided it was best to go with a simple haircut
to keep her looking decent enough.

After... the length is to her chin. |

Before... her length is right below her shoulders.
She says it looks "just like Annie" ~from the musical Annie So I guess that makes it cool and she likes it. Her sweet, round face really goes well with the style. Honestly, the picture doesn't show how cute it is and I can't seem to capture a good one of her with out blur from her constant movement.
OF COURSE, I was teaching her how to use children's scissors 15 minutes ago and left her to practice on paper saying, "open your fingers...and PINCH the scissors closed..." while I turned around to slap some cream cheese on Dainty's toast. When I turned around, Sunny was CUTTING HER HAIR with those little scissors and saying, "Sunny cut hair just like Mommy!"
I caught her just at a long clump of hair fell to the ground. *sigh* Fortunately, it doesn't show since she cut it in the back at the top and right at the roots. I was very serious in telling her that "ONLY MOMMY is allowed to cut hair! You DO NOT cut hair. YOU ONLY CUT PAPER." After having her repeat it back to me a few times I'm sure she got it until tomorrow.
