It's a wrap! Friday

There's a lot on my mind as I wrap up this week!

1) I GET TO SPEND THE WHOLE WEEKEND WITH MY
SWEETIE (with minimal events and to-dos!)
Car maintenance was rescheduled, so it opened up some free-time.
I am hoping we get to have a picnic or do something "summer!"

2) I'm really hoping that my new crock-pot recipe for
broccoli and cheese soup
works out fantastically so I can share it on here. :)
Since we did grocery shopping as a family last night,
we now have tonight free for an in-house date night!
I'm thinking candlelit dinner and dancing!
I will feed the girls dinner early and put them to bed
early (since we were up early for Mass anyways).
The soup will be one of the courses in our fine dining experience!
Ooo, I love it when a plan comes together...

3) Nervous about Peter's first Airplane flight lesson (but excited
for him at the same time...it's a complicated emotion).
In honor of Peter's 30th birthday, family and friends chipped
in to buy him flight lessons! He is excited for this
opportunity to accomplish something big off his
bucket list! He keeps begging me to come along with the girls,
but I would rather wait until he has had at least a few lessons...
it's not quite like driving a car ya know...
*gulp!

4) *praying* that I don't wake up sick anytime this weekend.
I've been rather icky lately (no, I'm not expecting!),
but I have some serious doctor appointments next Monday,
so please offer prayers!

5) Order, order in the ...nursery!
Sooo this intense "girlifying-the-nursery" project
completely failed with my being ill.
Now I have to put everything back in place
and rehang pictures. My sister, Celia, just
spent the week with me and graciously helped
me get my house back into order and scrubbed
the skeleton of the tree I was painting in the girls' room.
It was going to be a pretty butterfly tree with a
flowering vine... ah well, perhaps someday!

6) Gardening... I've been such a blob with gardening
this year. Last year I would wake early and do weeding, watering,
and pruning, but most days I can barely even get my eyes to
open and drag myself out of bed. So I am excited to
get a little gardening done!

 That's about it for now!
I hope you all enjoy your weekend and
HAPPY SUMMER!!!

~Michelle
