Hey there!
Sorry it's been sooo long since I've posted on here...
life has just been, well, so LIFE lately.
I find myself breezing through the weeks
and by the time the weekend comes I'm all like,
"Hey?! What happened to Tuesday!?~I wasn't done with
Tuesday yet!"
Thank God for my love of calendars, schedules, and charts!
My chore chart keeps me in line and disciplined,
my calendars (I have THREE~ one for holidays that has cute
pockets for keeping my appointment cards and notes~ one Google
printout of the month with birthdays and schedules~ and lastly
one with feast days and holy days) help me remember what
planet I'm on, and my schedule helps me keep the children
structured and my mind as sane as it's going to get for now.

Now that's what a perfect week looks like.
NOW, mix in appointments, family trips, teething infant,
and potty-training toddler and there ya have it!
Who ever says being a Homemaker doesn't count as a
full-time job needs to trade schedules and households with
me for just 2 days (and good luck with the nursing!).
Life, of course, has it's joys and blessings along the way.
Last week Dainty suddenly grew up a bunch and
started using the walker to scoot around the kitchen
(it's sooo cute when she follows me around and
tries to steal dishes from the dishwasher when it's open!).
She also started eating baby cereal two weeks ago
and LOVES it as well as squishing bananas and avocados
in her chubby fingers and licking them clean...sort of...
Dainty cut her FIRST TOOTH yesterday!
That pearly, pointy little thing
makes her out to be more of a
piranha these days rather than a sweet little cherub~ouchy!

Happy little piranha! |
Our little Sunshine just had her first haircut!
Mama was so nervous with the little wiggle worm,
but it looks great (If I may boast) and she is a cutie!
Sunshine LOVES playing with Dainty,
even if it means mama has to constantly keep
her from smothering her sister and making sure
she isn't stripping her to try and change her diaper
ALL BY HERSELF.
Potty training-----need I say more?
I am doing a more relaxed method of training
and she is doing well, VERY well,
but,
I can't get the child off the toilet!
She will seriously sit there allll day long if
I let her. I peek in and ask her how she's
doing, and she says, "Good. Still going!"
She looks so chill sitting back on her throne
with her cup of water, snack, and retired iphone
with her homeschooling program...
perhaps I am making potty training TOO comfortable?
Hmm...

SPRING!!!
I am soooo excited for the snow to just
GO AWAY.
However, it isn't... yet...
BUT
I am making plans as if it was 70 degrees out
and June. You see, I have just discovered
PINTEREST!!!!
Therefore, I am having a jolly ole time
creating boards to plan Peter's 30th birthday,
nursery make-over girl's edition, living room
sprucing, laundry room totally necessary -
must-do-something-with-project,
crafts, Easter, homeschooling...
you get it...I'm obsessed and motivated.
Well, I must go... LIFE goes on!
