So at this point,
I feel like I have a time bomb
set in my uterus that only God and the
baby know when it will detonate.
It's kind of weird and frustrating knowing
that labor may start by my water breaking
or just an onset of contractions at any moment.
In the past two weeks I have had days like,
"Ok, I am ready, this is it..."
or days like,
"Ok, I am ready, but I seriously don't think anything is
going to happen today..."
and days like,
"Ok, I am so tired today, can you wait until tomorrow?"
I remember that with Sunny, my water broke with
one of those dramatic TV gushes and it was
VERY clear that labor WAS happening NOW.
I kind of hope that's what happens this time,
but no labor is the same as the last.

giving chocolate milk)
Coffee
Anything junky
Fruit and yogurt parfaits
Daddy Stats:
Frequent heartburn
Backache
Occasional bouts of Daddy brain
Occasional onset of the sleepies.
Cravings that balance my own
(such as)
Captain Crunch,
(I can't remember the last time we inhaled a
box of cereal that quickly!)
Football,
Yuengling,
and some stinky cheese.
Highlights of this week were my bouts of
MOMMY BRAIN.
Last night I accidentally made a
QUADRUPLE
batch of pumpkin pancakes for dinner.
That's a lot of pancakes.
I usually make 1/2 of a batch
and it's perfect, but NO,
I had to go and QUADRUPLE it!
We seriously spent 1 hour frying those
orange saucers and ended up with 2 whole
platters full...
FORTUNATELY,
hubby loves them (and I do too!),
so I froze away two packs of them
and kept a third in the fridge for breakfast
this morning.
My second bout of Mommy Brain was
combined with Peter's bout of Daddy Brain,
and together we misplaced my set of keys...
of course we were in a panic as I had to leave for my
baby apt later that morning.
I spent a few hours looking in all the places
I had been since I last drove...
I then realized that they aren't where I usually
go, so that means they must be where I DON'T
usually go...
I immediately thought of how I've sent Peter
on frequent errands to the basement for me,
and decided to brave the hairy-scariness and
check it out.
Sure enough, they were right on
his workshop table.
Oh, and I forgot to take the meat out of the freezer for dinner
(thanks hubby for the reminder...a little late lol).
Big Sister Update:
Sunny is enjoying all of baby's toys!
She is totally chill with this baby swing!
I hope baby likes it too!
