At my baby apt. last week,
my midwife cheerfully informed me that baby
is in position and my body is
ready to go any time!
She also slipped and revealed the gender to me,
but we won't reveal what she said
There is always that possibility that baby
could be the opposite at birth so we would
hate to get anyone's hopes up!
I definitely feel like my body is ready to go,
but I would rather that baby bake for as long as it can
(I prefer as much pudges as possible on my children).
Baby Stats:
Baby is about 19-20 inches long from head to toes!
Baby weights in at about 6.5 lbs!
Mommy Stats:
Getting bigger (as always, but will be guaranteed to lose
35lbs. just from delivery and nursing!)
Labor bag is all set, but we keep adding stuff to it...
I bought pjs for Peter and myself that are cozy for wear
but decent for public, lots of baby socks, and MORE snacks.
(we love to eat)
Last week Peter brought out the infant car seat from storage
and I took off the covering and threw it in the wash.
Not 5 minutes later I went to check Sunny, who was being too quiet,
to find her ripping the car seat lining to shreds.
(not what I wanted to see when the midwife told me
just the day before that baby is due any day)
Anywho, I called up hubby right away and asked him to
call the company to see if we needed to order a new seat
or just the replacements.
FORTUNATELY, we just needed the replacement
foam! By the end of the week we had the new piece and Peter
hooked up the base and seat in the van. :)
I can't wait to bring home our little bundle!
Yikes! I must get off here and get some laundry done!
I would hate to have to go into labor and then come home to
no fresh underwear... lol
