With a new baby on the way
I can't help but realize what a big girl
Sunny is.
One month until she turns the big
2
and (I believe) she is the smartest
23-month-old in the whole state.
A boastful note from the proud mama:
My little Honey can recite the spelling of her name,
knows her colors (including black and brown!),
sings and recites the alphabet with the cutest flaws,
has the sweetest lines of Mommy's favorite songs memorized,
can scale any piece of furniture (indoor and outdoor) you place in front of her,
Loves Bleu and Feta,
can set a table worthy of royalty with her favorite
colored spoons, folded napkins, and a coaster for each measuring cup.
Knows more American Sign-Launguage than I can remember teaching her.
My favorite things she does:
Sings, "Holy, Holy, Holy, God,"
Giggles and gets super excited when Daddy is on his way home
(don't know WHERE she gets that from),
When asked, "Where does Jesus live?"
She will gently pat her chest.
Tells me I'm silly (and then laughs as if I've told a great joke),
Makes the irresistibly cutest puppy whines ever.
Says, "Mmm delicious!" and takes a bite
(even when she hates it... what a trooper!).
Would pick every flower in town and joyfully bring them
to me (if we didn't stop her at the neighbor's garden).
There are so many things she does that I love and I know God loves.
I enjoy watching her grow each day. I know she is
going to be an awesome big sister!
