baby #2 Week 33: Snail, snail, drag your tail.

Little "junior" sticking out tongue and licking it's finger!

OMGoodness, did you just feel that?!
Yes, yes I did,
In fact, it brought me to my knees!

It was the baby (who, according to the midwife, is head down
and VERY low) taking fist-blows at my waistband
*which never seems to have enough slack these days*
while kicking my sides... I'm pretty sure that I was able to
count five toes on either side of my belly~ OW!

These recent "love punches" to Mama are not cool.
I wake up hollering in the middle of the night
and of course it startles hubby too.
Seems like someone is preparing us for those laste-night
feedings!
Something that is 100% not okay with me is the baby
resting on my tailbone/sciatic. talk about major ouchies!
I can't walk when baby sits there, it's like the child grabbed a
hold of my tailbone and is pulling it . It makes it impossible to walk
at these  times, and the quickest way to gain relief is to
go on all fours and relax my belly so baby
can get enough wiggle room to reposition itself.

I had this uncomfortable predicament with Sunny's pregnancy
as well and it served to be great practice in relaxation for labor.

Baby Stats:
47 days until my due date!
Baby is as long as a pineapple~ yum!
Baby weights about 4.25lbs!

My pregnancy ap.'s tip for today suggests getting help with
showering and toiletries if it means avoiding a slip in the shower and injury.
This reminded me that my piggies are WAY over-due for trim and polish.
It's too bad that I can't REACH them!
Haha, but you should have seen me try last week, epic fail.
If anyone out there is okay with touching someone's feet
and understands what it's like to want to change your summer hue to
a fall one, then give me a shout out and I will take you up
on your offer. :)

Cravings Update:
Anything, just give me food!
Chocolate
Peter's challah bread (which is in the freezer and I MUSTN'T touch)
Mocha anything
Apple pie *'tis the season!
If you give it to me I'll eat it, I promise, just hand it over!
Football players~ not joking... while watching the game last night
I loudly mused to hubby how beefy those guys are and wondered
what kind of BBQ sauce would be appropriate.
Pumpkin anything... pies, breads, butter, seeds...
Fries, tater tots, fried chicken (just send me a KFC gift card)

OH!
We brought up the bassinet from the basement this weekend
and Sunny thinks that this fun looking device and hanging
newborn clothes are for her baby doll. Too cute!
She is sure in for a surprise. No matter how we try to explain it,
it's too much for her just-about-2-year-old-mind to
comprehend that a baby is coming OUT of Mommy's belly
and is going to live here. I don't blame her!
