Baby #2 Week 32: 8 weeks left?!

My, how the weeks fly by!

I just looked at my pregnancy countdown tracker
and realized that I somehow missed the
fact that I'm down to double-digits;
57 days left to go!

WOW

I mean just WOW.

A little less than two months left.
Am I ready?
Will I have time to get everything done?

Mentally I am SO ready to welcome this little bundle,
but when it comes down to lists of things to be accomplished,
I start to freak out a bit.
Hubby has started school two nights a week
and must spend a minimum of three hours a week on homework.
This second week of school has me realizing how much
I depend on my buddy for catching up on chores,
venting Sunny's energy, and mental support.
I know he has realized how frazzled I've been this week.
I'm sure he will be thrilled with how much I miss
our longer evenings together!

On the upside,
my doula just sent me a HUGE tub of bath salts.
So I figure that foot soaks and baths
will help with the extra stress and aching hips. :)

A note for Peter:
Remember how the other evening I
mentioned in jest how your recent calf-cramps,
back pain, heartburn, and snacking may be your feeling
my pregnancy pain because you just love me so much?
Well, apparently it's TRUE!
It's called
"Couvade Syndrome."
They recommend finding external outlets
to prevent your suffering from increasing by massaging
your beloved wife on the areas she is suffering.

I'm so loving this. :)

A lovely friend of mine helped me with some chores
and organizing this week. What a great help it was!
Together we looked through my bins of newborn clothes
and accessories and spend a lovely half-hour
ooo-ing and aww-ing over all the cuteness
and memories of when Sunny was small enough to wear them.
It was so much like a baby shower all over again!
In conclusion,
I have PLENTY of neutral newborn and 0-3 month
undershirts, but God help me if I have a boy!
Mounds of pink fabric... Sunny is as girly as they come.

Now I just need to get the bassinet out of storage,
purchase a chest freezer and pack away some meals,
and set up my Amazon Mom to ship newborn diapers
for the appropriate time... I can do this!
