3 Happy Years

Yesterday Peter and I celebrated our
3rd Anniversary!

We started the day off bright and early
by going to Mass, renewing our wedding vows,
and receiving a special blessing.

After, Peter took us out to a diner for a
hearty breakfast
(which had to be the most fatty breakfast I've eaten in months...mmm)

While my sweetie pie was working,
I spent the day making the kitchen table
pretty with wedding paraphanelia
and decorating the house with colorful flowers!

In the afternoon, Sunny and I baked a delicious and HUGE apple pie
for our celebration dessert. For dinner we kept it simple
and fried up our favorite pot stickers, YUM!

What husband wouldn't feel loved with a pie like this one?

After family time and bedtime for Sunny,
Peter and I battled it out with our favorite
game of Phase 10 while listening to
his wedding gift to me;
the soundtrack to WICKED. :)

After eating more pie than my midwife would
have ever allowed,
we spent the rest of the evening taking
turns reading our wedding journal to each other.
I would say this was my favorite part of the day.
It was fun reading about the adventures of our wedding
and honeymoon. I would say our favorite memory was
the night on honeymoon when we had an intruder
try to break into our patio... scary and hilarious
all at the same time; I will try to blog the story sometime!

We are very excited about our
"Honeymoon Getaway"
this weekend!

While Sunny spends the weekend with Meme',
Papa, and her aunties,
Peter and I are going to enjoy the lakes
for a day and then drive up to North Conway
for an International Date-Night
and shopping!
(he even mentioned a gourmet chocolate tasting)

I will try to capture some pictures of our adventures, but
I make no promises!
