Baby #2 Week 15: These hips don't lie

Here is a picture from last Friday
as I was dolling up for a date with Peter!

I have gained 2 lbs since my last picture
and I can honestly say it is all in the belly
and maybe some on the hips, LOL.

Don't worry, I have high hopes of being
pleasantly pudgy by the end of
this pregnancy. :)

Over all I have been feeling much better.
I still have nausea-filled mornings
and days where I don't want to leave the couch,
but it has been a couple of weeks since
I lost my breakfast.

Cravings of late have been:
STEAK
anything BBQ
Chocolate
Ice cold fruity drinks
steak

Basically to avoid heartburn
I need to resist foods that contain:
Acids
Cooking Oils
Anything that looks delicious and gooey

I have been feeling little kicks!
Particularly at night and after
I drink a very sugary beverage,
it looks like I may have another
David Beckham underway!

According to my midwife,
it is Junior using my bladder
as a pillow that causes me to
pace the floor for an hour (or two)
at night in hopes that baby will
move so that I can at last go potty.
I even tried yoga positions
and exercises,
but all that did was cause Mama
to stay awake for the remainder of the
wee pre-dawn hours.
Once the baby rises up out of the pelvic
area, I should be more
comfortable!

I keep telling my husband
that I feel like I am 9mos along
with the way my hips are acting.
I am wondering if it's just from all this
rainy weather.
Sunny thinks it a game when I can't get up
from sitting and try to do stretches
to warm up those joints.

My pregnancy pillow is my best friend
these days!
It takes me no time to fall asleep once I snuggle
up with it.
Last night hubby tried so hard to keep me
awake for night prayers,
but once I hit the pillow, I am out!

Baby stats:
Baby is the size of a naval orange!
172 days left. :)
