If it's a beautiful Saturday morning
in spring or summer;
you can be sure that my husband and
I are up at the crack of dawn
getting ourselves and the van
ready for a bustling morning of
YARD SAILING!
The night before, we prepare a list
of needs for ourselves, Sunny,
the house, and even Christmas and birthday gifts.
We always offer a prayer to God,
that He,
knowing what our true needs are,
will provide that those items are
found in our travels.
We are always amazed at the blessings
He sends our way!
Here are most of the items we picked
up just this morning for a grand
total of $25.

Booster seat for casual meals at home or travel (tray not shown) |
A beautiful child's vintage dress, doll stroller,
child's clothing hangars, 3-piece bathing suit,
spiffy travel clothing bag, old-fashioned toy,
fisherprice doodle-pro,
5 short-sleeve shirts, two leggings,
one pair sandals, two movies, one CD,
a cowgirl hat, 4 books,
and 2 training potty covers (not shown).
These are all such great saving!
The doodle-pro itself is $10+ in stores,
the doll stroller is the same ($10+),
the travel hanging clothes bag
was probably the most expensive
in-store, but we captured it for
only $3!
Each of the potty training
seat covers can go for $15 a piece,
The booster seat I have seen for
$20 used... and we got
it for $2!
We don't exhaust ourselves over
garage sales,
we head out around 8:30am
and return home for family lunch
by 11:30am.
We use Craigslist.org
to research the local sales and addresses.
I think we have only a few
items on our list that we didn't find
that are usually more specialty anyways,
but perhaps God will lead us to them
next week!
