My nausea has mostly subsided!
I have it figured that as soon
as my tummy starts to feel even
remotely hungry,
I need to eat something to avoid
stomach troubles.
This means that I always keep a snack handy.
I have also been cutting back on my
caffeine intake!
It has been hard since
I am still craving coke
like mad,
but I know it is best for
Mama and baby in the long run.
I have found that taking naps
enables me to be a total grump
afterwards,
so I try everything in my power
to avoid napping
(plus it helps me sleep better at night).
I have been keeping busy busy busy
to take my mind off of the pillow.
As a result,
(SURPRISE
SURPRISE),
my house is clean (er).
Now my only major complaint
is with how rusty my joints feel.
I can totally empathize with the
Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz
when he needs his oiling can after
being stuck from rust after many years
(only I feel like this after only one night of sleep!).
What has really helped with my joint cramping
is
YOGA!
I love my prenatal yoga!
I listen to my favorite music albums
and lay out one of Sunny's
blankets as a substitute yoga mat.
Sometimes she will spread out one of her
own blankets and do her
"goga" with mama.
I am also starting to use my beloved exercise ball.
Those hips aren't going to know what hit 'em!
My goal is to be able to naturally birth
(without medicine aids)
as I did with my Sunshine.
In order to do this,
I need to be in tip-top shape!
OH!!! I am
SOOOOO excited about
hearing the baby's heart beat next week!
*Such a precious moment*
I still have a recording of
Sunny's heart beat. :)
