Blessings of Christmas

Merry Christmas!

I hope you all spent a wonderful Christmas day 

filled with love, joy, and blessings!

My Christmas was definitely a lovely mixture of all those things!

Today I am still in awe at how God

takes care of me and send me blessings

either through my asking Him for the things I need, 

or Him granting the wishes in my heart. 

Let me share with you some of the blessings that God has sent me and 

my family to show His love this Christmas:

First off, God granted me a wonderful, caring husband who

has taken care of me during my recovery from 

a recent surgery. He also sent me a few little angels who

helped me with Sunny and brightened my! 

My husband and I had been praying for over a year for

a second car and He sent us one just a few days before Christmas

and in such a special way! 

 In the girlish recesses of my heart I secretly wanted a pretty 

pair of leather gloves. I didn't tell anyone, but God

knew! It turned out that my mum got a pair for Christmas,

but they were too small for her hands... 

she offered them too me and they are a perfect fit! 

I could fill up an entire blog with all the blessings God has sent,

but I need to head into the kitchen for lunch with the family.

I do want to challenge you all to find at least one blessing 

for each day starting on Christmas and leading up to now and maybe even

using your down-time before bed to thank God for a blessing

He sent you each day. 

It is always good to ask God for the thinks we need or want,

but don't forget to thank Him for them!

May God shower you all with blessings this Christmas season!
