Happy Advent!!!
Let me share with you all how we started off this season!
Peter and I love starting our Sunday preparations the evening before; usually at dinnertime.
For this first Sunday of Advent we set up our table with an Advent wreath (which holds three purple
candles and one rose colored candle to represent the 4 Sundays leading up to Christmas) and lit one of the purple candles. Peter read a few Advent prayers, then we sang "O Come, O Come Emmanuel," one of our favorite hymns, and then we finished by asking God to bless our meal.

We are so excited to start our Christmas crafts and gift-giving!
