Happy Monday!

Hey! 

   I assume most who read this blog are familiar with the "Monday Blues." Your weekend is over and it is time to kick into gear for the work week. My personal goal is to have a positive outlook, so I want to kick those blues in the backside and wave my banner of sunshine!

   First off, instead of imagining all of the work and stress the week might bring, I picture all of the good things I have too look forward to, such as: husband's birthday celebration, decorating a cool cake, what cute things will Sunny do, possible sunny and warm days that mean a family walk, and vacation!

   Being organized is also an extremely important part of my positive mindset. So on Monday morning I like to get my chore organizer off the fridge and plan my tasks according to my event calendar. No two weeks are the same, so it is better for me to write down what I know I can accomplish due to this week's schedule as opposed to having a stationery one that will make me freak out because I can't do groceries and run a birthday party at the same time.


  Music! I am a very motivated gal when it means grooving to my favorite tunes. Right now I am listening to a more classical and soothing album to calm a headache and get Sunny in the mood for a morning nap! Later on I will most likely listen to more upbeat music as I fold a batch of laundry or wash dishes. :) There is nothing like doing you domestic duties with a little pizazz!
